Your Instructor Jeannie Tucker will take you through the fundamentals needed to feel comfortable and look authentic in two 90 minute classes. In between take a break and enjoy dinner from El Parador Restaurant. This Workshops will be LEVEL-1 (LEVEL-2 will be coming again soon!) In the LEVEL-1 classes you will learn Cha-Cha basics and go through the primary moves that make the dance connect and flow. Included are patterns and combinations that will make you the "shine". No understanding of the of the basics or any prior dance experience is necessary in the LEVEL-1 Cha-Cha class. If need be, consult with Jeannie to discuss whether this level class is for you. This process is to insure everyone is able to keep pace and progress in class as a whole.A necessary step for a successful class. These classes are great for singles or couples. Efforts will be made to make sure we have an even amount of single leaders and followers. Sign up early so these numbers can be adjusted. We will rotate the single dancers in class so you get to lead/follow with different partners. This helps you be a better social dancer! "When learning to dance the most important thing is to understand the fundamentals of lead/follow, connection, posture, balance/centering and flow. Become the "dancer of choice" by learning how to lead comfortably, without hurting her and learning how to follow his lead without being a burden to him." Learn how to lead or follow ANYONE, on ANY dance floor, at ANY time. |
